Balancing Your Root Chakra (part 2)


The following are associated with the root chakra:

Day of the week: Tuesday

Stones & Gems: coral, hematite, brownstone, red jasper, Garnett, ruby, red adventurine

Aromatherapy: cinnamon, sandalwood, myrrh, patchouli, cedarwood

Herbs: ginger

Astrological associations: Capricorn

Plants: cypress

Musical note: C

Instrument: drums

Mantras: ‘LAM’ (pronounced Lahm), ‘O’ (as in “toe”)

Countries: Australia, New Zealand, North America (Mount Shasta)

Deity: Ganesh

Metal: Lead

Primary root chakra challenge: fear

We will revisit the root chakra on a regular basis, since it is imperative that this chakra stay balanced in order to keep all of the other chakras working properly. I am including a video below for more information on balancing your root chakra from a Chakra expert.
